Introduction to ICONSYAL2026:
The Faculty of Syariah and Law (FSU) plans to organise the 3rd International Conference on Syariah and Law (ICONSYAL) 2026, which aims to bring together scholars, experts, academics, and representatives from government and non-governmental agencies who are directly involved in various fields, particularly in Syariah and Islamic Law.
The theme of the seminar is “Navigating Artificial Intelligence Through the Lens of Shariah, Law and Ethics.” In facing today’s era of artificial intelligence, there are many new developments that require perspectives from the standpoint of ethics, Shariah, and the law. Society needs to be guided by relevant guidelines and legal rulings to ensure that they do not fall into actions or understandings that are non-Shariah compliant or contrary to the law.
